雅思閱讀判斷題又被叫做是非題,，是雅思閱讀考試的必出題型，題目是根據(jù)原文所給的信息,，對若干陳述句,，判斷每個(gè)是對(True／YES)、錯(cuò)(False／No),、還是未提及(Not Given),。                                                                

  判斷題的特征是題干都是按順序出題，不會出現(xiàn)亂序,，所以如果某題目找不到定位就要果斷放到一邊,，先做下一道題目，找到下一道題目的定位后,，再在其前面搜尋上一道題目的定位句子,。                                                               

  考生對判斷題進(jìn)行判斷時(shí)最容易對Not Given和False 區(qū)分不清，說到底還是對于Not Given的幾種表現(xiàn)形式模糊不清,，在這里我主要給大家呈現(xiàn)Not Given 答案的幾種具體分類,。                                                                 

一、題干中表述對象原文中不存在,。                                                    

  這種情況是Not Given 非常見的形式,，一般是主語或者賓語在原文中沒有出現(xiàn)。                                    

e.g.1 (C7 Test 1 passage 2 P25 26)                                                       

In the future, governments should maintain ownership of water infrastructure.                                

根據(jù)定位詞infrastructure去原文定位,，                                                       

  原文：on the other hand, dams, aqueducts and other kinds of infrastructure will still have to be built, particularly in developing   countries where basic human needs have not been met.                                             

  在文中我們沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)government,，那么既然原文連動作發(fā)出者government都沒提到,，關(guān)于它的論述的評判當(dāng)然不從考證，所以答案為NOT GIVEN,。       

二,、題干中表述的關(guān)系原文不存在                                                     

e.g.2 (C7 Test 1 passage 2 P25 23)                                                       

Modern water systems imitate those of the ancient Greeks and Romans.                                      

  根據(jù)定位詞Greeks and Romans 找到原文句子：despite our progress, half of the world’s population still suffers, with water services    inferior to those available to the ancient Greeks and Romans.                                          

  但是原文說的是現(xiàn)代水利設(shè)施和古羅馬希臘有好有壞，根本沒有涉及到題干中所提到的imitate（模仿）的關(guān)系,，所以答案為NOT GIVEN,。           

三、題目中涉及的范圍小于原文涉及的范圍,。                                                

題目：Our computer clubs offer color printers.                                                 

  根據(jù)題干中的定位詞computer clubs回原文定位,，找到原文：Macquarie University endeavors to keep pace with the technology innovation by    equipping the campus with computers accessing the Internet. Moreover, our computer clubs, whose number is constantly increased, provide printers with only a reasonable charge.                                                                 

  原文中只提到會題干打印機(jī)并沒有具體說明打印機(jī)是什么類型，題干內(nèi)容過于具體,，從原文中無從考證,，答案為NOT GIVEN。                 

四,、原文是某人的目標(biāo),、想法、愿望,、保證,、發(fā)誓等，而題目是事實(shí),。                                     

題目：The crime rate will be down in future.                                                  

  根據(jù)定位詞crime 我們能夠定位到原文：The new police chief vows to crack down on crimes with tough control and iron hands, learning from the mistake of his predecessor, a mild official who was generally criticized to over-sympathize with criminals by investing hard on the improved conditions of prisons.                                                        

從文中我們得知原文的內(nèi)容為警官是發(fā)誓去減少犯罪率,，是一種許諾，是否能夠真的成為現(xiàn)實(shí)根本無法確定,，所以答案為NOT GIVEN,。
