however 常用于表示轉(zhuǎn)折或?qū)Ρ?，譯為“然而”,、“可是”，“不過”,，“仍然”等時,，有的詞書認(rèn)為它是連詞，有的詞書認(rèn)為它是副詞,。之所以將其視為副詞,，也許是因為像許多副詞一樣不僅能位于句首，而且能位于句中,，甚至句末,，相當(dāng)于 nevertheless 或 despite this.

一、however 可以置于句首,，以逗號隔開,，譯為“然而、可是,、仍然”等,，例如：

He was feeling very ill. However, he went to school.

他感到很不舒服。但他仍然去上學(xué)了,。

She is the best student in school. However, she doesn’t do homeworks on time.

三,、當(dāng) however 用于連接兩個獨立的句子,，應(yīng)在 however 前面加分號“;”，或另起新句,，例如：

I'd like to go with you; however, my hands are full. 我很想和你一塊兒去,，可是我忙不過來。

解析：此句等于 I'd like to go with you. However, my hands are full. 

It’s raining hard; however, I think we should go out. 雨下得很大,，但我想我們還得出去,。

四、在非正式寫作中,，however 還可以放在句尾,，前面以逗號隔開,，例如：

五,、雖然 however 可以以特殊的方式連接兩個獨立的句子,，但不能被當(dāng)作連詞用，例如：

解析：以上不能用 however,，此時只能用 but,，正確的是：

解析：以上不能用 however,，此時只能用 but 或 however 特殊的連接獨立句子的方式。六,、however 與副詞或形容詞連用,，譯為“無論到什么程度，不管多么”,，例如：
