　　這可能是教材編者的一個疏忽吧,。畢竟,，這套教材的大部分內(nèi)容是中方人員編寫的，如果審校不細(xì)致,，就可能出現(xiàn)失誤,。（不過，本文末尾有彩蛋,，貌似凌哥會自己“打臉”,，可別錯過啦！）

'Most' in the above listing indicates that there are occasional exceptions to the general rule of no article before examples in these categories. (使用了“大多數(shù)”,，是因?yàn)榛疽?guī)則之外總有例外,。)

When we are discussing things in general, we normally use zero article with plural and uncountable nouns:

Formal education in Britain begins when children reach the age of five.

Basketball is more popular in China than football.

Patience and gratitude are qualities which are rarely observed in the youth of today.

But note, when we want to be specific:

The education I received was substandard.

The football played by Liverpool in their last match was awesome.

common expressions: zero article

一些常用短語中，不用the

There are a number of common fixed expressions used with certain prepositions involving everyday time and place nouns where zero article is required:

At university I never bother with lunch, but always eat breakfast and supper. 

At school I always ate lunch and dinner, but never breakfast.

In Newcastle, you can always get into town late at night and home again by tube, bus or taxi.

Note that the prepositions listed above are often not the only prepositions possible. We can also say e.g. to/at/into/from church and to/in/into/out of bed/prison.

　　在維基百科中,，絕大部分醫(yī)院是不使用the的，但是有這么一所醫(yī)院,，使用了the：The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) is a National Health Service academic teaching hospital in the...這所醫(yī)院的官網(wǎng)上,，就是有the的。

　　維基百科中,，中國的部分醫(yī)院的英文名是這樣子的：

　　同樣是?？漆t(yī)院，為什么婦產(chǎn)科醫(yī)院用the,，而五官科醫(yī)院不用the,？

　　為什么婦產(chǎn)科醫(yī)院“跑到了”天津，就不用the了,？

　　再來看看國外的：

　　日本的,，同樣是大學(xué)醫(yī)院，一家有the,，另一家沒有the,。

　　在中國和日本，英語都不是本族語,，那么看看加拿大和英國吧：

　　加拿大的“渥太華醫(yī)院”用了the,，上面隔開一行的，同樣是地點(diǎn)（Montfort）又沒有the,。

　　英國的兩家以王室人員命名的醫(yī)院,，怎么也會這樣不一致呢,？

　　所以，只能說絕大多數(shù)醫(yī)院是不用the的,。至于教材上的“復(fù)興醫(yī)院”,，凌哥覺得沒有必要加the。
