?Highly regarded fortheir hospitality projects around the world, American studio AvroKO wereengaged to design the food hall and coffee shop in the tech company’s SanFrancisco headquarters. The Tuck Shop and Dropbox Cafe serves as theorganisation’s heartbeat for the innovative tech giant’s offices, famous forbeing a major provider of online file hosting.

?AvroKO內(nèi)引入了“社區(qū)”的概念,，將人們聚集在一起 - 空間被創(chuàng)造為多用途，同樣適合于餐飲,，會議等,。靈感來自公司的座右銘，“汗水的細節(jié)”,，設(shè)計側(cè)重于小功能、單獨制作的家具和照明,，以改變情緒,，創(chuàng)造一個靈活的空間。

?AvroKO channeled theidea of “neighbourhoods” within the office to bring people together – the spacewas created as multipurpose, equally appropriate from dining, meetings,brainstorms and more. Taking inspiration from one of the company’s mottos,“sweat the details,” the design focuses on small features and individuallycrafted furniture and lighting to transform moods and create a flexible space.

?The food hall boasts 6main food stations divided by a variety of screens made of transparent linenmaterial, some of which are constructed around main banquettes, designed to beadjustable for creating small pockets ideal for a private gathering withcoworkers. The handcrafted lighting in the Juice Bar resembles a modern take onold street lamps, once again drawn from the neighbourhood concept. Thechandelier that dominates the entry has adjustable frames which slide up anddown tracks, imitating the Muni Metro transit lines of San Francisco.

?The cafe is designed toevoke a residential feel. It’s a place of comfort for staff with each furnituregroup containing an eclectic mix of chairs, floor rugs and accessories similarto a living room. The cafe boasts its own on-premise coffee roaster, encased bya blackened steel perimeter and visible to diners.
