介詞for用法疑惑的地方：

1.for + 時(shí)間段,，所匹配的時(shí)態(tài)問題,；

2.for + 時(shí)間段，其中for省略與否的情況,；

3.for + 次數(shù),，其中for省略與否的情況,；

for many a time, for many times, for twice, for three times哪個(gè)成立？

4.for + 具體時(shí)間（時(shí)間點(diǎn)）成立嗎,？

5.for + 時(shí)間段,，與瞬間動(dòng)詞連用，成立嗎,？

第三：for +次數(shù),，其中for省略與否的情況

話題看起來不大，可查找的論述材料并不多,，但事實(shí)上的確有用,，比如高考英語就有過類例，中考英語真題的翻譯試題也有過相應(yīng)的表述,。

第1：for + 次數(shù),，其中for必須省略；

第2：for + 次數(shù),，其中for可省可不省,。

從實(shí)例來看,，for + 次數(shù)，其中for可省可不省,，有三種情形：

1.1for many times = many times,，注意不是how many times；

1.2for the first time = the first time,，這里指的是作為副詞短語的結(jié)構(gòu)（不是連詞結(jié)構(gòu)的the first time）；

1.3for several times = several times,，這里的高考真題作為例證,。

2.1 for many times = many times，注意不是how many times,；

2007年高考英語,，湖北卷第33題，原題為：

The fact ________ （他失敗了數(shù)次）makes him very upset. （he, fail）

命題人所提供的答案為：that he has failed (for) several times

我昨天滑雪的時(shí)候摔了好幾跤。（不能說：I often fell yesterday…）
