Bob- Oh yeah, what was the name of it? Tom- “Back to the Future”. How cool would that be if you could travel through time? Bob- Yeah, I would want to go back and see what my grandfather was like as a teenager. Tom- Going back in time would be cool but I would want to travel into the future. Bob- Really, why would you want to travel into the future? Tom- I would want to go into the future and buy a newspaper and watch the news. Bob- What? You would waste your time watching the news. Tom- Waste my time? I would research what stocks were doing good so that I could come back and buy a lot of stocks and make a lot of money. Bob- You’re always thinking about making money. My wife would want to go into the future and see all of next year’s fashion trends. Tom- Yeah, and your wife is always thinking about shopping. Bob- I would also want to go back in time and see the Beatles live in concert. I would be able to get their autographed photos. Tom- That’s sounds good but what if you got stuck back in time? What would you do? Bob- I would have the technology to build a new one. Tom- Yeah you would have the technology but you wouldn’t have any of the materials to build it. Bob- I didn’t think about that. But I guess I could follow your lead and invest money since I already know what stocks and companies have done well in the 20th century. I would team up with Bill Gates and help him to build Microsoft. That way I could be a multi-millionaire. Tom- Now you’re talking! ===================================================================

He is a small-time criminal and has lost 100,000 marks belonging to his boss by accidentally leaving it on a train . Manni has to get the money within 20 minutes before his boss finds out, and plans to rob a nearby supermarket. Lola urges him to wait and tells him she will sort out the money. She decides to ask her father who is a bank manager. The main part of the film is divided in three "runs". Each run starts from the same situation but develops differently and has a different outcome. Each run contains various flash-forward sequences, showing how the lives of the people that Lola bumps into develop after the encounter. |
