Sonnet 18

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?  我怎能把你比作夏天，

Thou art more lovely and more temperate:  你比它更可愛,、更溫婉：

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, 狂風把五月的花蕊摧殘,，

And summer's lease hath all too short a date:  夏季時光匆匆、總是如此短暫：

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,  有時炙熱異常,，像天上灼燒的眼,，And often is his gold complexion dimmed,   它那金色的面容常飄忽閃現(xiàn)。

And every fair from fair sometime declines,  再美好的事物也終將凋殘,，By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed:  隨時間和自然的變化而流轉,。

But thy eternal summer shall not fade,  但是你的夏日會永遠鮮艷， Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,   你將永遠擁有這俊美的容顏,。

Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade, 死神也無法夸口讓你在它的陰影里逗留,，

When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,  當你在這不朽的詩句中永遠地生息留守：

So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,   只要人類還在呼吸，只要眼睛還在閱讀,，

So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.我這首詩就會存在,，你的生命就會存在。
