One day not too long ago the employees of a large company in St. Louis , Missouri returned from their lunch break and were greeted with a sign on the front door. 不久前的某一天, 在Missouri 洲的聖路易市一家大公司的職員吃完午餐回到公司門口, 看到一個(gè)牌子.
The sign said: "Yesterday the person who has been hindering your growth in th is company passed away. We invite you to join the funeral in the room that has been prepared in the gym." 上面寫著: " 昨天那位防礙你在公司成長的人去世了" 公司在運(yùn)動(dòng)中心為他設(shè)置靈堂 供同仁弔祭
At first everyone was sad to hear that one of their colleagues had died, but after a while they started getting curious about who this person might be. 一時(shí)間每個(gè)員工都對這位逝去的同仁感到難過. 可過了一回, 他們 開始好奇這位仁兄到底是誰?
The excitement grew as the employees arrived at the gym to pay their last respects. 他們帶著一種好奇的心情走到運(yùn)動(dòng)中心向死者致哀
Everyone wondered: "Who is this person who was hindering my progress? Well, at least he's no longer here!" 每個(gè)人都在滴沽" 這個(gè)人到底是誰呀? 他怎麼會(huì)防礙到我們的成長呢"?不過 反正他已經(jīng)不在了 !
One by one the employees got closer to the coffin and when they looked inside it they suddenly became speechless. They stood over the coffin, shock ed and in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. 然後每位員工慢慢靠近棺材時(shí), 當(dāng)他們看到棺材後每個(gè)人忽然間都無言
"There was a mirror inside the coffin: everyone who looked inside it could see himself. " 棺材中有一面鏡子: 探頭進(jìn)去看的人必定會(huì)看到自己"
There was also a sign next to th e mirror that said: "There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth: it is YOU." YOU are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are the only person who can influence y our happiness, your realization and your success. 而且鏡子旁邊還有一個(gè)牌子, 上面是這麼寫的: " 世界上只有一個(gè)人可以限制 你的成長: 那就是你自己" 只有你才可以改革你的人生, 也只有你自己才能帶給你自己幸??鞓? 對人生的認(rèn)知及成功
You are the only person who can help yourself. 只有你自己才能幫助你 Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friends change, when your paren ts change, when your company changes. 你的人生不會(huì)因?yàn)槟銚Q個(gè)老板, 換了朋友, 換了父母,換了公司而有任何改變.
Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limiting beliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life. The most important relationship you can have is the one you have with yourself. 當(dāng)你超越信念的藩籬, 當(dāng)你認(rèn)識(shí)到只有"你"自己才能對你自己一生負(fù)責(zé), 你的 人生因?yàn)槟阕约憾淖?
